		Serene Look. What a wonderful look this Fur Seal has on its face, it might be taking a power nap maybe? Also perhaps it might be on lookout duty and is watching us from his half closed eye ;)

		Fur Seal Playing in the Kelp. Once we got close to the shore we visited a group of small islands that were home to amongst others, Fur Seals. I think this must be an adolescent one since all the adult Seals' were out fishing. They leave the youngsters behind with a couple or so of adults to look after them, kind of like a seal creche. This one was playing with the kelp when we saw it.

		I am the Handsomest!!! The Black Browed Mollymawk (still belonging to the Albatross species) would have to be the most handsome/beautiful of the birds we saw from the boat (imo), it is remarkable what a little mascara can do for your looks hehe, oh and the yellow beak-stick ;) They always look so stern though! Although these Mollymawks do seem to have a bit of a grin hidden in there aswell.

		Whetting One's Whistle. Looking into the water? More likely cleaning ones nostrils! You see when the Albatross (or Mollymawk in this case) spend so long out at sea they need to make their own fresh water. Don't ask me how but they 'distil' sea water somehow and the salt is expelled from the system through their nostrils. I find it incredible that a bird that lives so closely with the sea cannot drink it strait so to speak!

		Horse Hongi. What a beautiful animal this is (the horse!!!), look at the neck, it is as broad as a grown mans torso, and look at those eyes and ears, so intelligent, I am moved by this picture :)

		Carl and a Friendly Horse. I asked if Carl knew which horse this was, and he said no, but it seems to know him and be very comfortable with him. It goes to show true character in my opinion.

		Walking on Glass. This shot shows the appalling state of my kitchen windows :( unfortunately they are double glazed and the cloudiness is between the panes? This little lizard was enjoying the bugs flying at the window perhaps, although later we saw him going for a spider living under the eaves. Clever the way they stick to the glass isn't it!

		Rain Spattered Flower. A less confused flower from the garden of the 'Blue House' in Foxton, I ended up at this place through a misunderstanding, thinking it was the house of someone it was not and since the actual occupiers were not home, I never realised till too late, oh well, most unfortunate but life is like that at times, and there were benefits.

		Black Bird. Friendly Black bird, hopped onto a rock, it stood in the sun so nice, just long enough for me to catch its image, then it was gone flying low chasing its mate.

		Danger Cat, Nell. As you can see the handrail that Nell is standing on is quite high up, though not quite as high as it looks here, it would be 2 metres to ground I think. Her ears have been getting a hard time lately it would seem, they are a bit notched and lacking in fur around the edges.

		Bumble Bee on a Blue Flower. Not the most technically fantastic Picture around, but I like the little Bumble Bee feeding away, couldn't care less what was going on around him, just carrying out it's service to the plant getting a feed at the same time (undoubtedly an over simplification of it all but never mind :))

		Tirau. Apart from the corrugated iron structures in the background, I like the two hitchhikers in this picture, the guy in front looks staunch and possibly has an attitude problem (apologies to him, he is probably a great guy) and the guy behind doing all the hitchhiking work (holding the thumb out) looks so easy going. When they saw me the front guy almost scowled at me, and the back guy smiled and waved :)

		Special Little Garden. I love the little Mickey Mouse in the aeroplane, even with a broken propeller he still has a indomitable smile on his face, and the wee pixie is so sweet. Just a special wee garden really, full of magic!

		Time for a Bath. These brave little Sparrows are not having their dust bath on the side of the road, this is actually right in one of the tyre tracks, this is in fact the main road hehe. They look like they are having a great time don't they!

		Off To Sea We Go. They look so devoted to each other, the dog and the girl, they are a precious thing indeed those kind of relationships, if only the world could relate like that, but then there would be inevitable squabbles I guess. Interesting Mono sail Catamaran in the background.

		Cute As A Button. Are they long shorts or short longs young man? She looks like such a nice girl, she was having a good talk to the boy like she was intent on him understanding something, then she realised I was watching and somehow managed to mix surprise, mild outrage and curiosity all into a lovely smile :) The dog is equally cute to!

		One Legged Brigade. This little group of Oystercatchers were all snoozing when I turned up (it must have been a hard night), mostly standing there on one leg, but some actually sitting down, heads tucked under their wing :)
